I'm tired of logging in and out of lj accounts. So, I have decided to start posting icons on my main journal [hunted]. I've taken everyone off of the friends list, and I haven't yet decided whether or not if I'm going to be deleting this journal. I will probably give you guys a weeks warning before doing so though.

You're probably thinking: Why not make this a community? Well, I moved away from ic_0n, and I had tired of communities then, so I tried a journal. And since I don't feel like changing this journal to a community, yeah. I'm mostly tried of posting outside of my main journal, honestly.

If you like my icons, feel free to add hunted to your flist. I won't add you back, but since my icons posts would be public anyways, it doesn't matter. If you don't mind my insanity, you're all good.

So I reread Ultimate Spider-man, and made a fist fuck load of Peter icons. Then I developed a Jason Todd obsession (weird, I know), so I reread Hush. Then I started to read Superman. After all that, what do you get?

A lot of wordless icons, thats what. Well, I think two have words. But I gave up on the words pretty fast.

I like the wordless style, so HA.

One day this week I realized that creditting was different. Well, you can keep on doing it the old way, for sure, but there's a new and COOLER way to credit now. And Mid has written a tutorial to help people who want to do it!

Well, if you're a friend on my main journal [hunted] or watch one of the many icontests I take part in [clamp_chorus, final_chorus, death_contest, manga_icontest or zelda_awards], you'll will have gotten a glance at a new style I've taken up: RAINBOWS.

Some people have asked me how I do it. And since I suck at explaining, I capped the process and, BANGYO, tutorial. Aren't you luck kids? 8D

This tutorial will show you how this iconwas made. Remember! Tutorials aren't here so that you can make the exact same icon. Good icon makers adapt different elements in their own styles to grow.

A small note: I use PaintShop Pro 7 to do my icons. I'm sure my methods would be similar for all PSP versions. For Photoshop users: The layer properties would be your layer blending. Same difference. Other then that, everything is basically the same (and, yes, I can do this effect with both Photoshop and PSP). 8D

I don't know all the proper names for the Photoshop stuffu, so you have to deal without it. Figure it out on your own! This effect is a lot of fun!
